The story behind QPathOne — why we exist, what we stand for, and who we are.
Inspired by a personal family experience of misdiagnosis, QPathOne exists to reduce diagnostic errors and improve access to expert pathology. We believe every patient, regardless of where they live, deserves a timely, accurate diagnosis and the best chance of receiving the right treatment.
For every story that reaches the headlines, there are countless others that never do — particularly in underserved communities where access to specialist pathology expertise is limited.
Our vision is simple: a world where geography is no longer a barrier to accurate diagnosis, and where every pathology report has the potential to change — and save — a life.
QPathOne was inspired by a personal loss — a family experience of misdiagnosis that resulted in life-changing consequences. That experience became a lifelong commitment to improving diagnostic accuracy and access to expert pathology.
Today, similar stories unfold every day across the world, particularly in underserved communities where specialist pathology expertise is difficult to access and delays in diagnosis can have devastating consequences.
QPathOne exists to help reduce misdiagnosis and underdiagnosis — supporting pathologists with standardised digital reporting, structured workflows, and access to expertise. Because where a person lives should never determine the quality of their diagnosis.
More than 20 years ago, my aunt began what should have been a straightforward medical journey. Instead, an early finding was misdiagnosed as a rare form of leukaemia. As the search for answers continued and treatment was delayed, her condition deteriorated. By the time the correct diagnosis was reached, she had developed gangrene, and her leg ultimately had to be amputated.
As I pursued a career in pathology, I came to realise that her experience was not an isolated tragedy. Every day, patients around the world suffer because diseases are misdiagnosed, underdiagnosed, or diagnosed too late. For every story that reaches the headlines, there are countless others that never do. For many, particularly in low-resource and underserved communities, access to specialist pathology expertise is limited, and delays in diagnosis can mean the difference between recovery and irreversible harm.
QPathOne was created to be part of the solution.
Our mission is to improve diagnostic accuracy by making high-quality pathology expertise more accessible through standardised digital reporting, intelligent decision support, and modern technology. We believe that every patient deserves a timely, accurate diagnosis, regardless of where they live or the resources available to their healthcare system.
We know that technology alone cannot replace the judgement of experienced pathologists. But by equipping healthcare professionals with better tools, structured workflows, and access to expertise, we believe we can reduce diagnostic errors, support better clinical decisions, and improve patient outcomes.
Our vision is simple: a world where geography is no longer a barrier to accurate diagnosis, and where every pathology report has the potential to change — and save — a life.
Because every diagnosis matters. Every patient matters. Every life matters.
To reduce diagnostic errors by making expert pathology more accessible — delivering timely, accurate histopathology second opinions to clinicians and hospitals worldwide.
To make expert pathology accessible to every patient, everywhere — so that geography is never a barrier to the highest standard of diagnostic care.
Clinical integrity. Transparency. Equity of access. Every decision at QPathOne is guided by what is best for the patient — not by what is easiest for the platform.
